Some Poems by Friends that Are Note-Worthy

 TP WASTERS
By Sofia

You know,
When people use all the toilet paper and go,
Leaving you there
Thinking, How they dare!

Those people are like raccoons I think
Doing damage and leaving the crime scene in a blink
Except with raccoons it’s spilling trash
But with tp wasters they use the last bit and dash

They leave you hanging, oh groan
Sitting on the porcelain throne
Yelling for someone to bring you some
And then there is the awkwardness when they come.

Oh if they only took a little extra time,
I would have something to wipe my behind,
So next time you have the chance,
Put the toilet paper on in advance.

 FISHING FOR COMPLIMENTS
By Courtenay

A bear, standing knee deep in water
Runs its hand in the water
Waiting to grab something
To snatch up the first passing fish
And devour it, not holding back

A girl standing knee deep in lies
Runs her hands in modesty
Waiting to grab something
To snatch up the first passing compliment
And devour it, not holding back

What’s the difference? Really.
